Who is my legal employer?Your legal employer is our partner, Flexpedia. They handle your contract, payroll, pay slips, and sick pay in case of illness. However, if you have any questions regarding these matters, please email backoffice@jmuitzendbureau.com, and we will assist you as best as possible.

What should I do in case of illness?If you become ill or unfit for work, you must report your illness to JM Uitzendbureau and your legal employer (Flexpedia) as soon as possible — no later than 30 minutes before your usual starting time. Your sick leave must also be reported to Flexpedia by phone before 10:00 AM via +31 23 205 2408. Sick leave can only be reported by phone; notifications via email will not be processed. In principle, you must report your illness yourself. If you are unable to do so, someone else may report it on your behalf. If you fall ill during working hours, you must inform your direct supervisor and Flexpedia before leaving work. If you believe your illness or incapacity is the result of a work-related accident, you must immediately report it to your supervisor, employer, and recruitment partner. When reporting your illness, you must provide the following details: The expected duration of your illness Your location during your sick leave A phone number where you can be reached The name, address, and phone number of your general practitioner If applicable, the contact details of any specialist treating you If you are hospitalized or admitted to a care facility, you must inform us of the expected duration of your stay as soon as possible.

What are my obligations when I am sick?Your obligations during sick leave: Inform us about the expected duration of your illness and where you will be staying during your absence. Provide a phone number where you can be reached. Provide the address and phone number of your general practitioner. If applicable, provide the address and phone number of the specialist treating you. If you are admitted to a hospital or care facility, inform us of the expected duration of your stay. If you already know in advance that you will be hospitalized, please notify us as soon as possible. Take care of your health and ensure a proper recovery. Company doctor visit: If you are requested to visit the company doctor or the doctor of the occupational health service (Arbodienst), you are obliged to attend. If you are physically unable to visit the company doctor, you must inform the Flexpedia Absence Desk (+31 23 205 2508) in advance.

Are public holidays paid?You are entitled to holiday pay if: You have worked on the same day of the week at least 7 times in the 13 consecutive weeks preceding the holiday. If you have been employed for less than 13 consecutive weeks, you must have worked on that specific weekday in more than half of the weeks you have been employed. Recognized public holidays: New Year's Day (January 1) King’s Day (April 27) Liberation Day (May 5, only in lustrum years like 2025) Easter Monday Ascension Day Whit Monday (Pentecost Monday) Christmas Day & Boxing Day (December 25 & 26)

As a recruiter and employment mediator, JM Uitzendbureau is your first point of contact and conducts the initial interviews with you. Flexpedia is your legal employer and handles all administrative and legal matters. Together, JM Uitzendbureau and Flexpedia ensure that you can start working at the company where you have been placed.

Registered with JM Uitzendbureau – what happens next?If you are selected to start working for one of JM Uitzendbureau’s clients, we will submit a placement request. To confirm this, you will receive an email from Flexpedia asking you to verify your application. Please check your spam folder in case the email does not appear in your inbox. All you need to do is confirm the email within 48 hours by clicking the provided blue button. This confirmation allows Flexpedia to proceed with your employment contract and placement at the client company.

How can I sign my employment contract?You will receive an email from Flexpedia via Ondertekenen.nl/Signhost containing a link to your employment contract. This process is fully digital for faster processing. To sign the contract: Open the email and follow the link. You will receive an SMS code on your mobile phone. Enter the SMS code to confirm and sign your contract. ⚠️ Important: If you do not sign your contract, you cannot start working and will not receive a salary. Didn’t receive your contract? Check your spam folder. If you still can’t find it, please contact JM Uitzendbureau as soon as possible.

Do we have SNA certification?We work with an external partner who handles our back-office operations. They are SNA-certified and have extensive knowledge of relevant laws and regulations. This allows us to ensure high-quality standards.

Can you provide staff at short notice?Yes, we have a pool of candidates who can start quickly. Availability depends on the job type and location.

Do you offer recruitment and selection services?Yes, we provide both temporary staffing and direct recruitment services based on your needs.

Which contracts do you offer to temporary workers?Contracts comply with Dutch labor laws and collective agreements, ensuring fair conditions for workers.

When is invoicing done?We process payroll on a weekly basis based on the actual hours worked by employees. Once the payroll has been completed, an invoice is generated and sent to you.

How much does a temporary worker cost during sick leave?Nothing. We only invoice for the actual hours worked. If a temporary worker is absent due to illness or vacation, there are no costs for the employer.
